Philip Alexander, M.D., is a native Texan who has practiced medicine in College Station for more than 25 years. Throughout that time, he was an accomplished musician performing as an oboe soloist for the Brazos Valley Symphony orchestra. In 1980, Dr. Phil explored the world of art, first by drawing pencil sketches and then drawing via computer. His images, which first appeared in this journal in the spring of 2012, are his own original creations.
